Dandolina Open Day 2017.....TEA PARTY !!!!!

 

 

 

      Every year our school organises an open English class so that students, parents and teachers get together, collaborate and interact.

       This year parents were invited to attend a tea party hosted by Pre-Kindergarten 2. Our students had worked on this project for nearly two months in various ways:

- by exploring the origins and the tradition of afternoon tea with our English teacher,

- by discussing nutrition in general with our Greek teachers,

- by preparing various crafts with our Art teacher

- and even by baking cookies with our cook.

       After such preparations and a long anticipation the day had finally come!!!! Our students welcomed their parents in their classroom and served us a cup of tea, which was so desperately needed on such a cold Saturday morning. They then presented their first English-speaking show with great enthusiasm. Our tea party was followed by a Biscuit Workshop where students and parents worked together to decorate their cookies....yummy....yummmy...

  

        Hot tea, school festivities, delicious biscuits, family hugs, handmade gifts, children's smiles......it certainly was a beau-TEA-ful day!!!!
